Encana Anderson 17-2 Rumored to be producing 1300 + BOPD

Comes from a very reliable source that the Anderson 17-2 which has the shorter lateral of the two new Anderson wells is producing 1300 BOPD and is still cleaning up.  This is from 22 frac stages and a 5500 foot lateral.  The Anderson 17-3 has a 7500 foot lateral and 32 stages.  Its going to be exciting to see what the Anderson 17-3 will do.  Hopefully this will be enough to really jump start the play.

Jay:

Agree.  These appear to be wells that could serve to turn the page, along with Smith and Crosby.  Anxiously waiting for the proof in the pudding.

The new Anderson wells will make good headlines for the TMS. I am expecting better than 1300 on the 17H2 and even more on the H3. Optimistic? Yes I am!

The  2 new Anderson wells are both still cleaning up and production should be rising on both. These wells will both be better than the 1st two - IMO.

The new Horseshoe Hill well pad site(2 wells planned) appears to be completely ready for the rig to show up.

Goodrich has reentered the Smith well using a snubbing unit to finish drilling the plugs. This already excellent well(1045 boepd) could see some substantial improvement in rate and a slower decline as soon as the rest of the lateral is producing - maybe within a week if all goes well.

The Foster Creek was drilling in the curve but there is a pause in drilling for some reason, evidenced by some pipe being pulled. Hopefully they will be back drilling shortly.

Rumor is Goodrich will be spudding the Ventress well southwest of Woodville by October and Encana will spud the HH wells in early August. Other wells are planned and the rumor is more rigs are coming - at least for Goodrich.

Good numbers, well over 1000 boepd 24 hour IP rates (IMO) from the Smith, and Anderson 17H 2&3 should be coming in the next few weeks .  Good job Encana and Goodrich!

Steve, what is the Section, Township and Range for the Foster Creek well?

Goodrich well - Foster Creek 20-7H1 - Sec.20 and S/2 of Sec.7   T2N R1E  Wilkinson County -  974.1 acres. This well in on a clear cut high hill just over the hollow adjacent to the Crosby well - several miles northwest of Centerville,Ms.

They are drilling in the curve but had a lot of pipe pulled and in the rack this week for some reason.

Thank you, Steve

Glad to help.

Any update on the 17h-3 rate?

Only heard that it is still cleaning out water, but oil rate is ticking up gradually. Seems like it is taking a long time to me, but they had some issues with equipment is the rumor. No reason why it should not hit +1000 in my opinion, unless there were mechanical issues that have impeded the IP rate, especially with a longer lateral than the 17H2.
