Does anyone have a contact within the revenue div. of BHP who could provide a name and number for me? Apparently the final transition from Petrohawk to BHP has taken place and now we and some of our friends are having problems getting our monthly check (just started this month). The call center for them is not a lot of help. I need to talk to someone who knows something

Good luck on dealing with BHP. They have a group of folks in Houston that apparently were formerly working at McDonalds or Burger King before becoming division order experts.

Well we had a division order problem with the operator (not BHP) 2 yrs. ago showing we had less acreage than we had. It took 14 months to get that straightened out and get our back pay. Apparently the total conversion from Petrohawk to BHP just took place recently. I thought it took place earlier in the year, but the BHP's computer system is now converting. Guess what? They are showing the same problem we had fixed. Getting through to them is unbelievable. I had the no. for someone in rev. dept., but that answering service's mailbox stays full and can't be reached. POOR customer service.

Tried calling their Haynesville regional office in Shreveport?  318-682-2333

Skip, I didn't even know they had a local ofc. I just tried that no. and it is no longer working. I had other numbers for a revenue analyst and that no. is no longer working. All of the people I dealt with in fixing this problem lost their jobs. I kept all emails from BHP showing this problem was fixed, so hopefully that helps too IF I can ever find someone to talk to!!!

BHP moved into the central business office constructed by Petrohawk on Preston Street in Shreveport about a year ago.  All personnel assigned to the Haynesvile region now work out of that office.  The division analyst you need may not work there but that office should be able to direct you to them.

KCM it is my understanding that a lot of the Petrohawk folks jumped ship from BHP to Halcon back in November when the one year agreement for them to stay was up. I think a lot of these folks are loyal to Floyd Wilson.

maybe the above will help, i don't know, i found it on one of their webpages. I'm new here so i hope i'm not sending you down a rabbit hole you've already been down.

imo, the good news for those dealing with them is that they're honest, they're not one of the dirty birds. when i was a productive member of society i had many business dealings them them where they were both operator and nonop. again, imo, the way a company deals with its fellow WIOs, especially when you're a non-op party gives very good insight as to how they treat the others they deal with in other regards.

the bad news is that they've had essentially no onshore experience, their US background has been GOM shelf and deepwater. it may be counter-intuitive but, onshore matters are way more complicated than offshore; RIO's being an easy example, you've only got one when you're offshore, uncle sam. my guess is they were hoping to buy some onshore institutional memory by taking the petrohawk mid/back office people along with the assets; undoubtedly, it would have been bhp's call as to whether they took them or did not. from previous posts in this thread about their Shreveport office hands bailing out, that part of the deal doesn't seem to be working out too well for them and, unfortunately, neither for you.

This morn I started calling Houston numbers and finally got someone who gave me an email to someone in revenue. I emailed her and got an out of ofc. til next week reply. I really think this is a computer glitch. They are probably still doing their conversion. It is the same amt. they showed us deficit for 2 yrs. ago and then it all got fixed.

A friend was having the same problem.  I pulled the President, Vice President name off of something, plugged in their email format and had people coming out of the woodwork to help.

Sssshhhh.

If everyone knew this trick, they'd have to change their addys.  And think about how much confusion that would cause everyone.

As if the CEO checks their own email.

I don't know who checked it but he and a whole bunch of others were cc'ed.  I've also done this with Centerpoint, CHK (yes he and Hood replied back) and a few other who did and a few that did not.
