Cindy, it would be helpful to have additional information.  For example, where is the well located, Louisiana: section-township-range?  Texas: survey name and number.  If you have a lease that location description will be in the legal description of the tract of land.  Operator, what company drilled the well?  What parish or county?

API # 419-31740 XTO Energy Well 1HB New Drill Total Depth 21500

Shelby County Texas, Lease name is Murray

Status # 766153

Does that help any

Cindy, the well is drilled and waiting on completion.

What is involved in completion ?

The lateral still needs to be perforated and frac'd. It will not produce gas until that is done. The well has to be tied into the gathering system (pipeline), as well, and that is usually done before frac'ing. A gathering line has to be extended out to the new well.

How long does that usually take for all that to happen?

They aren't ever in a great hurry but 60 days is about par.

Ok thank you

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
