Which fields have historically been the most productive? Is this an indicator of the order the fields will be developed?

I ask because if I review the field production history of various fields over the last 25 years or so on SONRIS, there are some that have been much more productive than others.
Example: if I look at Caspiana v Trenton, 1980's to now, Caspiana has had consistently higher production.
I realize this was using older technology, like vertical wells, and now we have horizontal.
Will this have any effect on how fast or how attractive one field is compared to another?
To my laymans eye I woudl put my money in the Caspiana.
Is my thinking in line with the NG industry professionals?

I'm not a professional, but I think the older productive fields are being developed first because the infrastructure is already there. My best guess is that they will move away from these areas as more infrastructure is in place.

A lot of the old fields are HBP, so there is no need to get into a hurry in development of them.

HS is a resource play, whereas CV is a reservior/structure play.
