The drilling companies have to figure out what they are going to do with what they already have!
I'll bet they already have enough on their plate to keep them busy for years without taking on more!
I mean they wouldn't want anyone to get the impression that they were greedy or anything would they?

What is this..Communism?

All acreage is not created equal. As time passes and more wells are drilled we will learn more about the shale. There will be sweet spots, and there will be non-productive areas (or areas not worth the time or money to devlop). The prime areas will be worth more. Also, other factors influence the going rate: road access, water availability, total acres, etc.

We have it all in Webster Parish. Please visit our site WEBSTER PARISH BUREAU OF DRILLING. What's drilled in Webster Parish doesn't stay in Webster Parish.

I'm sorry, I was trying to be a funny guy. There is no WEBSTER PARISH BUREAU OF DRILLING. I'm not smart enough to talk oil & gas.That's why I hang around the bottom of this blog looking for something to nibble on.
