It is just to the North and West of the intersection of Hwy 191 and hwy 473 on Beaver Creek. Probally around Section 23,T4N,R12W.

How close is the new well to the donner well on kites landing rd., and what is the status on the donner well.

I don't know of a new well because there is no permit for a well in the area other than the Donner. Maybe the article is in reference to the Donner well because it is in the same area. But Sonris calls the field a wildcat in the Shreveport district. I would think that the Donner is in the Rattan field.

The area in the map in the link provided by olddog573 contains the Donner well. Also, the outlined area had seismic testing last month (after the drilling started on the Donner well).
