I saw on the news last night that Entergy had withdrawn their request to get permits for building two additioal nuclear energy plants at Port Gibson, MS and St. Francisville, LA which have to be on the Miss. river for cooling. The news clip said that they would be looking at alternative sources of fuel. Seems to me the logical solution would be natural gas since the supply would be so available and beneficial to the entire region. But then again what do I know.

Herman, additional nuclear power plants will have to built in the future to address climate change issues because they have no CO2 emissions. Natural gas fueled power plants will be required also to replace coal plants and "firm" renewable power.
