If electric car do increase on the road I am thinking invest in Tow Trucks. With the talk that these electric car can only drive 30 miles on charge there will be great demand for Tows.

sesport may actually have the best idea - maybe we should all buy ourselves some adult-size tricycles and little mini-trailers? I need something to bring home groceries.

Intrepid, shall I put you down for one or two $90,000 green green Finnish sportscars? I'm assuming they're all green - Granny Smith Apple Green, Lime Green, English Pea Green, etc. Also, do you want the hand-painted Al Gore picture on each side? That's a little bit more. We will have decals but wouldn't that look a bit cheesy on a $90,000 car?

If you have teenagers and need to economize, I think I can get you five Chevy Volts next year for approximately the same amount of money if they come in under $40,000. Just let me know.
Rosebud,

I am not in the market for an electric car. But if you run across a used Tahoe or Blazer in "Border Patrol Green", let me know. Mechanically, it just needs to run. I plan only to use it to cruise around the parking lots of Home Depot and Lowes and watch everyone scatter.

With some of the cheaper electric cars, they would have next to no resale value when they have run 8 to 10 years and the original battery pack needs replacing with a new pack. No one would buy a used car, then be out $8,000 or more for a new battery pack.
LOL! Your reply reminded me of a funny Email joke I received recently. I'll Copy & Paste the text - the picture (which won't copy) the guy had printed and pinned to his fatigues was a Border Patrol agent's badge!

Yesterday, I needed to go to the emergency room.

Not wanting to sit there for 4 hours, I put on my old Army fatigues and stuck a patch onto the front of my shirt that I had downloaded off the Internet.

When I went into the E.R., I noticed that 3/4 of the people got up and left. I guess they decided that they weren't that sick after all.

Cut at least 3 hours off my waiting time.

Here's the patch. Feel free to use it the next time you're in need of quick emergency service.
.

It also works at DMV and the Laundromat - but don't try it at Wendy's, the whole crew will exit and you'll never get your order...

The History of GoHaynesvilleShale.com

GoHaynesvilleShale.com (GHS) was launched in 2008 during a pivotal moment in the energy industry, when the Haynesville Shale formation—a massive natural gas reserve lying beneath parts of northwest Louisiana, east Texas, and southwest Arkansas—was beginning to attract national attention. The website was the brainchild of Keith Mauck, a landowner and entrepreneur who recognized a pressing need: landowners in the region had little access to…
