ABOUT HAYNESVILLE
Haynesville: A Nation's Hunt for Energy Future takes place in the Louisiana backwoods, and follows the momentous discovery of the largest natural gas field in the United States. The film examines the historic find (the "Haynesville Shale") from the personal level as well as from the higher perspective of the current energy picture and pending energy future. The Shreveport premiere of this extended cut of the documentary features additional footage, interviews, and updated information concerning our nation's energy picture. A new epilogue reveals how the documentary's subjects continue to be impacted by the Haynesville Shale, one year later.
