I have read that Sabine County may hold multiple pay zones. Could this situation extend the life of some of the high volume results that companies are having (in other counties)or is it totally unrelated? Also I read in a GCAGS article that there may be large amounts of gas surrounding the geological formation known as the Sabine Island but at considerable depths. As this was written in 2001, that may be the target but I can't find what this may be called and if it is sand or shale? Any help would be appreciated.

Mike,
Thanks for the article and maps. I will print it out and study the contents.... I thought I was able to download everything but have not had a chance to print it. Please post what you deleted so I can print out the information. Thanks
Cheerleader,
Here is a link for the maps. It was a power point presentation by Carr Resources.

I have mineral interests in maybe 80 acres that is about 10 miles south of Hemphill. It looks to be located in the brown circle on the map posted here. Am I out of luck?
