I am a newcomer to this site. Have a few acres leased off North Lakeshore close to Blanchard. How can I find if any drilling is going on around Township 18 North, Range 15 West? I am new to this drilling thing, (leases and royalities). I live in Baton Rouge now and want to keep up with activity going on there.

Also, the following well has been drilled in your area and tested at 5.1 MMcfd initial gas rate.

Chesapeake, Percy Arnold Sharp III 7 #H1 Well, Serial #238043, S7-T18N-R15W

offer of........ $1000 / 25 %......from Twin Cites who represents
Cheasepeake.
There are 18 well pads visable from the air off of Blanchard Furrh Rd between Blanchard and Longwood per my friend. The Sharp well noted below is in the section with the Walter B. Jacobs Nature park. They have put a compressor station in my section (8) and there is a long well site road that starts in section 8 also. You'll know when they are going to drill your section because you'll get a notice of proposed Unitization etc.

Thanks so much for your response. As I said, I am new to this, still trying to learn, which I see is a lot.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
