T18N-R14W Section 8, Lots 8,9,10

We are looking at accepting the acreage (approx 80 acres) and mineral rights as part of a debt settlement.  I am reaching out to Haynesville Shalers to see if anyone can give me some guidance of the drilling activity in this area as well as if companies are actively leasing in this specific area.  We are attempting to place a market value that we could expect if we were to liquidate this acreage one we have acquired it.  Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Mineral Royalty I have producing minerals in Trees, Caddo Parish in sections 21 and 22 (Hart). I just signed a lease of 80 access due west of Vivian in Marion County at Lodi. The lease bonus paid was $300 per acre. Some here would say that is low, however, what you ask for should be balanced whereas not to make it punitive to drill. A producing well will surely reward you more for a long time, in my case, I am the fourth generation on the same lease, versus a one time paid signing bonus. On this site is a listing of drilling locations for Louisiana, and Texas for your information. If you must sell the land, but NEVER sell the mineral rights.

About $1000.00 per acre plus 5 times the mineral royalties for last five years.

Huh?  Are you pricing the land or just the mineral properties?  I would give that particular property considerably more value than $1000.00 an acre.  Reading some of your other posts, I am puzzled at your opinions.
