jffree1----I continue to learn how to use the RRC Web Site---- all data now is reported on line and not paper to RRC office. Question about the Barton #2H Devon--that report is now on line. Go to RRC web site. click --online queries--then click--oil& gas completion-- fill in info to identify the well by API # (no spacing) 34733118--click search---all the data is there-wow great site info---- the Barton IP test 3/19/2010 at 6,700 mcfd--- perf 12764 to 17621 (4857' lateral)
adubu, thanks. I hadn't looked at that search since last month. Then all I could get were a few wells from Panola County. I may get used to this format but I prefer the scanned filing that has all the reports together. If I wanted to save the completion packet it was just one file. Now I have to save multiple files to get the same information. Old dog... new trick, LOL!
yes I quess multiple files but that search has complete data on well including plat and P-12 list ,etc also tops of all formation in the well interesting.
Hopefully, the new format will make the G-1 available as soon as it's submitted instead of waiting for the approval for a Lease ID. Should be lots faster.
Devon completion report Barton #2H "adjustable choke" with wellhead pressure 3915# so it may be choked back
I just found this letter from the TRRC Commissioners:

Railroad Commissioners: Operators Can Now File Well Completion Reports Online with the Railroad Commission
Online System Helps RRC Continue Streamlining Agency’s Well Permitting Processes

AUSTIN –– One of the final reporting steps that Texas oil and gas operators must take to complete an oil, natural gas or service well is now available online through the Commission’s website at www.rrc.state.tx.us, the three Texas Railroad Commissioners announced today.

“In our continuing efforts to streamline and make the agency more efficient at helping Texas remain the nation’s leading oil and natural gas producer, I am proud to announce that operators can now file their completion reports online with the Railroad Commission,” said Chairman Victor Carrillo.

Commissioner Elizabeth Ames Jones said, “Completion reports help ensure that new wells are in compliance with all the Commission’s statewide rules. Now, instead of multiple reviews by the Commission’s district offices, where the wells are located, and then by Austin staff, the whole process will move online and allow completions to be concurrently reviewed by Commission personnel located in different areas of the state.”

Commissioner Michael L. Williams said, “The completion report is the final audit conducted by Commission staff on a well, and it is a vital component of making sure each oil and gas wellbore has been built, cemented and cased to meet Commission rules designed to protect groundwater and the environment.”

Oil and gas operator benefits under the new online filing system for completions include an ability to track the status of filed completions; immediate submission of a well completion package for review by both Austin and District Office staff; electronic audit of completion data to ensure correct data has been provided; quicker electronic communication between Commission staff and an operator; and the capability to quickly make corrections or upload additional attachments to completion packets under review.
EOG Resources completed the Hassell Gas Unit Well No. 3H to 17,285 feet in the Carthage Field one mile northeast of Attoyac. On a 22/64-inch choke the well potentialed 12.405 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
New EOG unit, not yet permitted. Pad being built on the old Skoolz out ATV park. This unit will be to the South of the Hassell & Pop-Pop units, North of Hwy 21.
This is not a gas unit. Boring for a pipeline.
The new pad is right next to the new pipeline, just over the ridge.
Yeah I know the land owner. He said that is the bore sight for the pipeline. It's a 1 1/2 acre pad. How did you see this pad from the road?
EOG just permitted the Hill Gas Unit #3H, just west of the Hill #1H. Maybe that's it... the SL is southwesterly of Hassell 2 & 3.
