The purpose of this post is to get a feel for what is going on, if anything, in Bossier parish. So post if you have knowledge.

Missy, if the size of my mineral estate was in excess of 80 acres, I would get the best bonus I could negotiate, not accept a lease term over three years, require a depth clause for depth produced (not drilled) plus 100' and negotiate a lease clause that prohibited the lessor from HBP'ing my acres with a vertical HA well. Diamond, Samson Contour, or any other operator claiming to develop the shale in this part of the Play is selling a bill of goods in my estimation. The wells will just not be economic for a number of years. The best lease terms for this peripheral area of the Play will come when nat gas prices exceed $7.50. And they will. I just can not tell you when.

The vice 13, oxy 11, and lodwick 35 have all been fraced. Diamond has not filed any potentials on any of the wells except the oxy well which was in the paper a couple of weeks ago showing very low production. The oxy well was fraced improperly and diamond said it was the service companys fault. They did not frac with high enough pressure. They went in and tried to refrac it but they were not successful the damage was done. Its funny that this is the only well they are filing any reports on and the are showing it as producing when its not. They are holding cards close to the chest. Word is they have good pressure throughout the shale. Both company's are saying the bossier shale is also present and that it also looks good. I didn't think the bossier came that far north but both company's are saying they have it. Rumor is they did a duel completion on the vice well and it was flowing some oil. Lets hope so. Thanks for the well information.

My guess is it is vertical Haynesville sand well. Seems to be too shallow for Haynesville formation. I am just speculating as I am not familiar with this field. I do know that the top of the Haynesville is at depth of 10,000 feet in north Webster Parish on my property. Must be quite a structure in Bellevue if it is truly that shallow.
Was told by one owner, in Arkana field, that Jag has drilled four wells and hit all. They are looking for bounderies. One rig left and went to Springhill, near Nation Bros. This news is weeks old.
Any info out there?
Search Arkana Field ( 0116) for recent wells and completion reports. All the JAG activity is listed.
