Bill, they rigged down about two weeks ago. Completion should happen pretty soon. I know nothing was going on out there this week.

I'm very interested in this well, also.

thanks for the information.
Hopefully it turns out as well as the Hancock-Smith does, but the orientation of the Twomey Heirs is the exact opposite.  Again, very interested in this one.

that hancock smith is pretty good. it will be interesting how this turns out

Been some action this week - anyone know anything?

Michael and Bill,

I was out there yesterday.

It looked like they were preparing for the frac. Lots of people on site. Tophat on the well bore. They have installed 3 400bbl tanks (one water, two condensate) so it looks like they're expecting a good amount of liquids like the Hancock-Smith. I'd imagine the frac will happen next week. I'll let yall know what I see.

Thanks for the report. Hope it turns out well.

Frac coming any day now based off what I saw yesterday.

yea they been out  all week. I guess shooting the pipe at lots o zones???

I have not worked in the fld since '86 was once an open hole logging Engineer for Schlumberger in the Carthage office. know nothing about completion so I like to drive the gator to the site and watch em work.

Let me tell you us Twomey Hiers are pretty excited!

I'd guess they made their perfs while they had the rig on site.

There is plenty of reason to be excited. They're targeting a great section of the CV.

They have been loading fluids all week and I thought I heard the light generators kick on last night. Shoud be any day now

Donald Warren had asked for an update.

Compressors were in place last Friday and they fired em up Sunday. Did not here them again untill last night. They ran till almost 9 - all was quite this morning but my 100 mile daily commute starts pretty early. The site is quite impressive #1 son says it has "dual decks" and they are expecting "hot gas"

I'm seeding watermelons this week and yesterday the ground was so warm I took a quick nap in the dirt. Dreamed I could feel the earth below splitting open:)

When I was an open hole logging engineer I loved to spend time at the mud loggers looking at samples. I think I know what the  Cotton Valley looks like - and its looking better all the time!

I do not know how long a normal frac takes but I'll update the thread when they start pulling out
