I went to the Hall location yesterday and the Attoayac construction LLC has almost finished the location and  am anxious to see the rig moving in. They tell  it will be a big rig to go 18500 ft.

Confirmed today with pipeline co. that the Endeavor gathering pipeline is still a "viable" project and is still "in progress" and that it was permitted for 24".
Received some more strong "rumor" today that the near 10 mile major 24" gathering line from near the Hall location to the south is very much still "in progress". Bodes well for area in my opinion. Why would million + be spent on line to nowhere???
How long does a line of this size and length take to put in if the company has to go through the legal process to gain access to some properties? I guess I am asking what is the worst case scenario?
Heard an old song the other night by Gladys Knight and the Pips named "our day will come" makes me think of the good people in No. Sabine co.
ALongview, the legal process is fairly common and is pretty streamlined, can move pretty quickly. Still the eternal optomist Ken, "our day" is not "right now" (from a previous post), but I'm still in the coop sitting on the nest. Another tidbit, seems like a few months ago, there was a land purchase (not a ROW acq.) at the intersect point of this line with the transmission line with several acres involved and not a small amount either??? "Rumor" has it that purchaser is involved in the gas business.
"the intersect point of this line with the transmission line with several acres involved"

Sounds like a dandy spot for a gas treatment plant. What do you think they want to do?
AL don't know about the time, but we were contacted by a group representing Tenaska gathering system that comes from No Sabine county to tie into line on our property in NE San Augustine county up around bland lake for right to survey for 24" line with permanant 50' row. So I do know there is movement. Also in negotiations with ETC for 20". This leads one to believe a lot of gas is going to be moving in the future.
AC - that's what I like to hear. We need some activity but we need to be able to sell the gas too.
Found this on a sabine landowners website:
there is a lot of chatter these days about the Haynesville shale exploration coming to Sabine County.  The exploration is in the early stages but there are several pipelines that have been surveyed and are set to start soon.  Most of us will likely feel some impact from this in the future.  We will try to keep everyone updated as information comes available but the following is food for thought.
LANDOWNERS:  Most pipeline companies have the power of Eminent Domain which means that they can come through your property, even if you don’t want them to.  There is a lot of information on this topic on the Railroad Commission  website and you owe it to yourself to get the facts.  If you do not accept what the pipelines offer, they can file condemnation proceedings on you.   If that happens, the judge appoints a Commission of three landowners from our county to hear the case and determine what you should be paid.  In recent condemnation hearings in San Augustine, the appointed landowner Commission awarded payment of about $500 per rod [16.5 feet] . This amount is two to four times the amount the pipeline companies had offered.
Great post Alongview!!
I am interested under what heading would I find the information on the Railroad Commission website on information of pipelines offer. Thank you.
Betty, I doubt that you would find anything on TRRC which addresses pipeline ROW offers. They only permit and regulate and even the T-4 pipeline permits are not up to date (no surprise there!) on the GIS map or search by county.
If I misunderstood what you were asking... please forgive me.

You can visit here for pdf lists of permits for the entire state but you have to browse through them to find your county:

http://www.rrc.state.tx.us/licenses/piplinepermitting/index.php

This page has instructions for how to search for pipeline information:

http://www.rrc.state.tx.us/data/online/nuebus-other.php#t4

And this is the FAQ page which does address questions about Eminent Domain and what TRRC does, and does not, do:

http://www.rrc.state.tx.us/about/faqs/eminentdomain.php

I hope something posted is a help to you.
