Anyone hearing anything they would like to share about the Wilkinson GU1, Red River 35 #1,  or the Whitton 1H in the E. Quirk (A35) survey? I know there were some issues with the permits and other delays (protest), but I was under the assumption that they had spud and were in process... then 'nada', nothing, just golden silence out there. I sent off a Email to Cabot, but like Devon, EOG, and Southwestern, they are not saying much, not replying right now.

Okay... at last we have royalty monies in the bank for Red River 35  1H....

Still haven't seen a D.O. from Cabot on the other two, I heard there are issues with getting all of the owners addresses, but that was a rumor from one of my Uncles out there. Got some words of encouragement from the Landmen working for Cabot, they said things will be happening soon and that, "it will be a very good year for the Whittons and other owners in San Augustine this year..."

P.S.  Red River 35 was completed in August 2010... we just now got a check!

Red River 35 #1 was a Common Resources, LLC well acquired by Exco and completed by Exco with production on Texas Railroad Commission website:

Yep, it was originally to be drilled by Common Resources in a deal with Cabot (they leased it from us) and then acquired by EXCO in another deal with Cabot, who retained a % of the well.

Been a VERY interesting process of learning on our part. All in all it is great feeling to actually receive a royalty check that wasn't based on four or five zero's after the decimal point.... This one had only two!!!!

The other wells we have in the area should hopefully all be the same and at the same I.P. or better I hope!
