TD on permit is 15,500. It is put up time for E 1/2 of Shelby for some deeper depths. I have not gotten one bit of corroborating information on Harvey well or any deep well on East side of Shelby. I have heard a lot, but have confirmed nothing.

To say nothing of Newfield well drilled last year in Huxley Deep Unit about 5 miles South of this well going toward Boles Field. Never heard a thing I could prove. That one was on government land mostly, as is most of that Huxley Deep Unit. I'm sure EOG has seen logs, etc of Newfield well, or they wouldn't be giving it a go... EOG had drilled some stuff around FM 699 area last year, which is East Side as well, though a good deal North of this.
West Huxley Deep Unit GG #1 had an IP of 591000 cf and flowed 164 bbls of water at 400 psia flowing tubing pressure on a 20/64 choke. They perfed seven 10' intervals between 11750' & 11850'. Top of the Haynesville was at 10545' and the CV Lime was at 12030'.
A note at the bottom of the report says they only logged to 10520' because they were unable to get the toolstring beyond that depth due to hole conditions.

It sort of sounds like they had a few problems but I don't know anything about drilling gas wells... I just read what they report.
any update on deep wells Petrohawk in shelby, Samson or others--
Is there any update on Burk Royalty wells... Bush and Pearson .....( off of FM 1645)

Bush was vertical ..14,000...HA? Pearson was re-permited to a directional well 14,000.
This has been re-permitted today and is now listing a completion depth of 17,500'.

Today the rig in Shelbyville was down and it looks like they will be moving it out. Does anyone have any news on this well?
Today at the Ellington well in Shelbyville, they have moved the smaller rig that had been there since last week and there are several red trailers lined up to the side of the location. Has anyone heard any reports on this well?

Thousands of acres hbp and leased with 2 year options. In some cases, eastern Shelby County where Ellora is predominate, our only hope is for Ellora to sell those deep rights to a company who can drill to the shale. Thanks for the info on the Ellington well. Last week Halliburton was busy there, but it appears they are gone and the site which is a tight spot anyway looks less congested. You can see the actual location where the rig drilled from the highway, but no tanks are set up yet.
I hope you've seen the discussion on the main page about Ellora... lots of hope on both sides of the river that they will sell to a more capable/more well funded operator.
Do you think they will sell to one operator or pick and choose based on offers to specific properties?
Uh oh, now you're testing my mind reading abilities, LOL. I wouldn't hazard a guess at this point. They've flip-flopped for a long time about what they are going to do... go public, no, wait... sell some acreage, yeah, well... maybe we will... if we get the right offer from the right company. j

We'll just have to watch and see.
