It's good to see that central Louisiana is getting some more TMS action finally, things in the eastern part of the play have gotten slow lately but the western end has been at a standstill for a while. It seems like everyone's mouth is watering over EOG and Halcon, and I hope patience prevails with the inevitable learning curve each company will have.
EOG took over two years after they started buying leases for the drilling to start. Halcon took two months.
glad to see some actin finally starting in rapides parish. good luck to eog, halcon and rapides parish mineral owners.
LOL. I just realized what your profile picture was. Where in the world did you get that. I hope that's not a shut-in natural gas well. Three years from now the corrosion will go all the way through. I can see the headlines now. "Natural gas explosion rocks parish. Authorities seeking local dog owner."
Has anyone heard how this well is going and if there is going to be any more movement north up highway 1?
My rig report does not include Rapides and the well has not reported as spud on the state O&G database. If drilling has begun it likely would be very recently.
please look at avoyelles today article on tms headlines on page 14. the poland/halcon/broadway well has been spud.
The state database does not report drilling in real time owing to lags in reports from operators and lags in staff entering new data in the database. Without a rig report covering Rapides we'll have to depend on avoyelles today and other sources to monitor drilling.
Trinidad #117 is up and running.
TD,P unless someone with a rig report shows up, can you give us a weekly update?
