These are photos, that hang in the Kilgore Oil Museum in Kilgore TX. This was a burning oil well of my Great Grandfathers, Raymond Graddy. This well was the first $1,000,000 loss, in the state of Texas, due to a burning well. His crew walked away and my Grandad, single handedly, put out the fire. Sold everything he had to do it. Three lives were lost in this terrible explosion. Notice the "ghost faces", amidst the smoke. In theory, the faces that can be seen, in the fire, belong to those killed in the explosion.
