PARKER, WHERE ARE YOU, AND WHEN ARE YOU COMING HOME?

I have a confession. Dare I tell it? I may as well bite the bullet and just tell my deep dark secret.
I MISS PARKER
There, I've said it and I am not ashamed of admitting it. My day is just not complete without reading something Parker has to say. It can be something Haynesville Shale related or a blog telling me what kind of tree I am based on my birthday month! Anything, I just eat it up. I have hungered for nearly 2 weeks for anything written by Parker.

Now Parker, I know that you are a wonderful parent and feel it is important to spend "quality time" with your son, but hear me now and believe me later ..................in 8 more years he will not even know that you exist but your Haynesville friends will be here for you!!

PARKER, PLEASE COME HOME

Cathaus,

I missed you too. Actually, I missed all of GHS. I was tempted to borrow one of the other campers blackberries, but I refrained. I had a wonderful time, and now I am paying for it in long over due grass cutting. But I'll be back.

I Love ya too, me maw.

But you don't understand JF, Parker is my Muse. She is the one that gets my slightly dehydrated humor juices flowing. Without her influence, I got nothing, nothing I tell you. It just ain't right to leave an old woman with nothing to do but pluck her chin whiskers!

Cathaus, Are you having "seperation anxiety" over Parker's absence? She'll be back... so have a toddy, hitch up your depends and sit tight. And think up SOMETHING to entertain the rest of us (which you do so well). :-) JF

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
