Can you tell me what company was wanting you to lease? I leased with Tedan for $275 and 1/4. So did my neighbors. This was all before the news broke about the shale area in Caddo. I used to live in Haynesville so I was thinking this was something big in Claiborne parish. I did go to a meeting two weeks ago that a small neighborhood off 169 had. They invited 2 landmen from Cheasapeake who were very nice but some of the people there were very rude to them. These people wanted $28,000 per acre+25-30% royalties and a long list of other demands. The landmen made it plain that this was a bit excessive. I know we all want a fair deal but no one wins if we get too greedy. I hope we all will get many good wells that make life better for all of us.
