Diamond oil has filed an application to form a pooled unit encompassing Sec. 25, T20N-R11W. Diamond wants the unit well to be on acreage they have not leased (in fact, at the far southwest quarter when Diamond has only leased the east half of the section. Diamond is asking the Conservation Commission to order the landowner to let Diamond on to its land. IF Diamond is successful, oil companies will not have to take leases from everyone, not even from the owners of the land on which they intend to drill. The hearing is July 14.
