Diamond, Yes, I do. I have been trying to get XTO to look at some unleased property in E. Haynesville Field
right on State line. Fina had property leased about 10 years ago and a friend of mine who was geologist with them for 18 years tried to get them to drill unit I'm talking about. As you may know XTO bought Finas interests in N. La. XTO is planning 4 Smackover wells in Section I have interests.

Over the years I have been away from the area I have mostly concentrated my interests in area from Springhill to Haynesville near stateline.

Based upon what I know I would thing most
Smackover leasing would be on fringes of Smackover fields. But, I do expect there will be some Smackover leasing just across state line. I do not know lease status but I expect both XTO and Marathon to do more drilling in that area on basis of what I have heard.

I know of a few places where I would drill if I had leases and $.

Diamond, The Smackover formation extends from Mexico to Alabama. I believe it is the most prolific producer for many years for norhern parts of Claiborne and Webster Parishes. Very good wells with long production lives. I am geologist and very small operator mainly with working interst in wells operated bt Fina, XTO, El Paso etc. I grew up very near Webster/Claiborne Parish line on Sandhill Rd.
