Cabot has most of the leases in 139.
Fossil Resources had some... they drilled a vertical that has never been completed.
ye cabot prices or still back in the 1800
yes it was in survey 139
Thanks Jerry. Good news for SA County.
What o&g co. did you lease to Jerry.? I have 6 acres unleased in Denning.
wtg jerry, hope this comes true to all of us
i sign a confidentiality agreement on the the lease and i cant tell you everything but stand tough and dont back down from any of theses oil company's they need us just as we need them and dont for get what down in that ground belongs to us not them. i even heard the bonus money should go to 25k to 30 k in the 2 to 3 years so be careful of what you sign.
Jerry, can you tell us the size of the parcel, please? And did you negotiate on your own or have attorney handle it for you?
Here is what jerry smith posted in November:

i have a lease with cabot oil and they wanted to lease some other property of mine and i would not give it to them because they are real cheap and they think you are dum because you come from east texas. what should i do. Yes it is in the JJ Hennis A 139 at county line in i have another 200 acers

It appears from Jerry's prior postings that this bonus is a result of a position, in an abstract, either parallel with, or north-west or north-east of San Augustine town.
MOTHERLOAD PEOPLE OF SAN AUGUSTINE UNITE!!!
That's why I went ahead and reposted what he said in Nov. before (apparently) he signed a confidentiality agreement. He didn't say anything recently... I did. And I'm just guessing.

Jerry had 200 acres to lease. Just another example of where "size matters". But, I don't think he got Cabot to pay 15K... had to be someone else.
