Just Interested,
Many sections around you in 8N-12W (Sections 1-12, 17-18, and 20) have been unitized by SWEPI/EnCana.
What does that mean?? I know petrohawk has leased in my section.
Relative has 40 acres in sec 10 T8N R11W. Believe they are drilling in this section presently. Could someone in area please confirm as I do not live in area. Relative has been approached with offer of 20% royalty, 3k bonus per acre. Please help. Is this a good offer? Had heard bonus money was upwards of 10k per acre in northwest la. What gives?
JP, the following well is currently being drilled according to the latest information. Because you are close to the southern edge on most companies' maps I am not sure I would expect $10k/acre but 25% royalty should be a reasonable target.

Ensign #150 Rig, EnCana, Olympia Minerals 10 #H1 Well, Serial #241095, S10-T8N-R11W
Les B, Thank you very, very much. Any additional information you come by would be appreciated.

JP
Any updated word on drilling on sec.18,twn 09n, rge 11w? As of 04/30/10, drilling was completed. Typically, how long to finish fracing?
Gerry, it only takes 7-10 days to fracture stimulate and complete a well but Shell may be waiting for pipeline and treating infrastructure to be installed before intiating completion operations.
THANK YOU!
Has anyone received any royalties yet? If so, how much per acre?
not yet they told me i would sometime around the middle of July i would receive my first check... i will keep you posted.
WHERE is your well? When was it completed?
it was potentialed in May of 2010. it is in sec 4 9n r11w well serial #239985
