Chesapeake contacted my family regarding mineral rights to 100 acres in Arkansas about 2 years ago I'm not certain but from what I can tell I think they should be recievibg royalties but have never recieved anything since. Does anyone know how or where I could possibly look into what's goin on. Thanks so much

Tonya,
You say "Chesapeake contacted my family." Did your family sign a lease? If they did not sign a lease, there will be no royalties.
Tonya,

I keep track of the Fayetteville Shale in Arkansas, you said Section 28, 10N, but not the Range and County. If you give me the range I can look it up for you and tell you of any activity.

I'm pretty sure it's sec 28 10n 7e 22w. I guess since I have no idea what exactly a shale is It might be a good idea to check with someone who does! thanks so much for your help. Tonya
