Just wondering if the offers have gone up since petrohawks annoucement last week.
I hear rumors of $18,000 per acre but has anyone here actually received any offers over $17,500?
Please elaborate!
Are they offering this to people that only have one to two acres.Just asking because I do not feel like I should have to pool with a large group to get a fair value.
You are correct Mr. Mcwhiney, You shouldn't have to !

But since these guy's aren't making bonus offers out of the goodness of their hearts, you have to make them pay you more money.Being in a position to hold up drilling in a particular area is a threat to production or a chance for a competitor to slip in on their turf.Once there, the competition begins eating up profitts because they are going to get a larger cut then our measley 25 %. Being a 1 or 2 acre holdout is simply just an inconvenience to BIG O&G. Nothing more.

Not to mention the fact that larger groups on the Barnett made between $8,000 & $10,000 per acre MORE , then individuals or small groups did on average.
I said on the Barnett because some of the groups around here without strong leadership and are not as informed will not do as well. The only thing these neighborhoods are doing is making it easier for the landmen to process their leases because they are gathering their own legal descriptions and handing them over.
Airline Baptist Church just agree to lease it's land for 16K per acre, .25 royalties
Which company offered this?
Does anyone know if there have been any offers around the Lakeview area behind KCS? There was a meeting a few weeks back but i was not able to attend so i'm not sure if there is any activity going on around here.
Can anyone tell me who brokered the mineral rights for Evangel?
Fortress Management (Tom Turnbow & Denny Reedy) made the Evangel deal.
Thanks Red Sonya. There is a man here in the Blanchard area that is working to sign homeowners up for 5% of their bonus. He is telling us that he brokered the Evangel deal! Aha, just as I thought.
You can check out their website at www.fortressmanagementllc.com to see what areas they are currently working on. They are asking 4%.
