PRE-APPLICATION NOTICE ON BEHALF OF SAMSON CONTOUR ENERGY E&P, L.L.C.

I am in s22-t19-r15 and I received this in the mail today from Hargrove, Shelley, Strickland & Langley. The proposed unit is in s15-t19-r15. Did anyone else receive this same notice? If so, could you please interpret for me? From the plot that they sent, it looks as though my section is already in an existing Cotton Valley Unit, but I haven't received anything stating this....and I leased back in 2006.

Thanks, thanks & thanks. Do you know how I can get in touch - guess I can look at the websites for phone numbers & I have a # for the lawyers.

KB,

I made note of that in my request for the conference. Will forward to the Office of Conservation
Hey everyone,

Sorry I took so long posting on the group. The 10 sections to be unitized have large undeveloped tracts (500+ac) and I expect they leased a majority. I have requested a conference for 11-19 at Petroleum Club and also requested logs (definition of Zones) and list of notified parties (per KB suggestion). I have only been approached by Twin Cities so this took me by surprise. CHK was interested a month ago so I wonder if some trading/swapping was done. As I learn information, I will post.
just for the record...
when someone replies to a to a quote that was farther up in the conversation[was not the last reply on the page], it sometimes doesn't get read, it get lost in the shuffle.

example....if you reply Oct.27th to something that was discussed Oct. 5th,
your response will show up back on the 5th... and will probaly be missed by most.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
