The first month (Aug.) production of 456,444 mcf for the Black Stone A-398 seems to indicate that this well is as good as the A-43 even though we haven't heard an IP on it yet.
Great wells. What do you guestimate EUR's will be for wells in the area?
j garrett, I know how to find the data but I have to leave it to others for that sort of interpretation.
Julie, for some of us beginners, where do you find this info? I assume it is on TRRC.
Yes, it is found with a regular search for production but instead of the Lease ID, which new wells won't have until all the paperwork is approved, use the API # or the drilling permit # and check "Pending" instead of "Gas Well" on the Production by Lease query. I usually set the date parameters as Jan. 2010 to the current month and that will pick up all months in pending status.

The completion report was put on the TRRC site today with an IP of 17,040. Shut in pressure of 10,480 psi and flow pressure of 5,659 psi. Congratulations.
Hey Jffree1 how you doin? I haven't been on the website for over 2 mos. I see by the latest posting that there is some movement to the SW of SA. I have a client that has a prettly large Min AC holding south of this area about 5 mi. They haven't got a lease signed yet and they have 160 nma. Just checking ...have you got any advice.
Just patience, T Bob. Encana was leasing in the Hereford, A-17 a little while back, so there is hope. It just may be slow in coming unless/until the price of gas improves. It's moving south... but slowly.
Thanks for the follow up. We need NG to get to the $6. range.
what is the going lease rate now. I know it was around 5000.00 last year but heard the rate is slowing down. Been offered 2000.00 with 25% royality. This is in the San Augustine Co. area.
The royalty is where the greatest value will be found and 25% is great.  It depends on where you are in San Augustine as to whether the bonus offer is good or not.  Would you mind sharing the survey name?

The survey is the Collins field. Haven't been on here in a while.
