Nick there has been no report on any of those wells. Thanks for the update.
LOOKS LIKE EOG HAS BACKED OFF ON DRILLING IN EAST TEXAS WITH NO NEW PERMITS FILED RECENTLY AND FOCUS, LIKE ALL OF COMPANIES, SHIFT TO OIL
They can't get em completed even if they drill em. Huge backlog.........and $3 gas.
What are you shoutin' about, RBH? EOG backed off just like this last year when the price was under $4. Besides, that gas is not going anywhere and it will be a new budget year soon. Did you consider that maybe they have locked up the acreage they needed to this year and now have some breathing room on the drilling schedule? Just a thought...
Jffree1 is absolutely correct! EOG has drilled, ummmm, at least 8 wells(in the JA Chireno, alone) in the past 9 months. They've got a STRONG lock on the acreage, in that area. Its all, now, HPB'd.
THe gas is in the ground, it belongs to them, its not goin' anywhere. What good reason would they have, at 3.30 gas, to continue drilling $12 million Haynesville wells??? ABSOLUTELY none!
Please, correct me if Im wrong...
Well, I doubt that they have quite all of it HBP but they made a big dent in it this year. Most people wouldn't want their well produced at these prices if they had a choice.
New EOG permit today... 4M Tall Pine Gas Unit #1H in Y' Barbo, A-60.
There will be a couple more units soon. Just across the road from the 4M Tall Pines pad is another pad. They've also got two rigs drilling Hill wells right now, with two more permitted. They still have an unused double pad built for what appears to be two more Hassell wells.
They haven't permitted Hassell 4 & 6 so maybe that is how the pad will be used?
Maybe this map will help you a little bit on its location.

great map
Ok Realyoldguy, Relax, take a chill pill. Is your acreage ABOUT TO EXPIRE. Deep breath, repeat is it about to expire? Do you have a year left? Relax....your best offer will come later. Take a deep breath, say NO. Your answer is No. Can you extend your lease? IF not your answer is no! Do you have a year to extend then make them pay. Say no...no matter your offer say NO. I have been taking a cose look at your situation. Say NO!
