Can one of you local guys take a look at the C Hereford survey (Section A-17)? I met with a landman (landlady?) yesterday when my mother-in-law signed her lease, and the landlady said that a pad is being cleared north of 103, about 1.5 miles east of 705. This will not be on the road - maybe 3/4 mile north of 103. Encana should be the one getting ready to drill.

My family has land leased with Devon in the A-17, Charles Hereford, and in A-143, Hendrick Survey.  Is Devon working with Encana on this well?

Great job of tracking this down, ALongview! Looks like Encana is setting up right-of-way for up to two 24" pipelines for A-17. Does anyone know if this is "normal", or does this imply A-17 is going to come in strong? They are laying about 9 miles of pipe (if I interpret the drawings correctly). Makes our Encana lease two miles south look more attractive for future development, maybe.

I hope it comes in great and they move South a few miles!

thanks for posting ALongview!

Is it too soon to see production reports for this well? API 40530383

I look on the RRC site, but don't see anything.

Yes'm, it's too early.  It spud Oct. 18 and showed to be still drilling last Friday.

The rig is still in place as of today. I drove by the BS A-43 2H, also. They've got the tree on now. It stands about 15ft.

EnCana-Black Stone Unit A-17 #1H is waiting on completion.
Julie, I assume this means the rig has departed. Any idea where it went?
Sabine Parish, Martin Timber 31H #1.
Hope it's a goodun!
i am keeping fingers crossed!
