There has been lots of talk above the brown dense over last year or so. What's the latest on any wells drilled in this formation with oil productions success?

L Davis---thanks yep read most of it and my bottom line question is same has there been a success well drilled with enough oil to pay out the operator and make some good money? If so do you have link to that well?
Todate, there has not been a brown dense well at the bottom of the SMK  completed in S AR.  The Bussey well in Columbia County is in the test phase and everyone is waiting on the offical results.  Unoffical rumors are saying it does not look commerical.  Since the brown dense is common to N La and S AR, information on N LA has been scarce.  All data is being held close to the vest and it is hard to determine the exact status other than a lot of leasing is going on in N LA and S AR.  Application has been made for another well along the Ar/LA line east of Dodge City.  There has been no talk of anything in the Norphlet formation just below the SMK.
L. Davis---Thanks for information--- I was attempting to connect this to the rumor of possible activity extending into East Texas Harrison County area in the Norphlet seen on 3-D seismic with lease activity but don't know if anything drilled to prove it yet. Of course this is all rumor also about the leasing off of 3-D.
adubu---I have not been following East Texas, but do not recall seeing anything on brown dense Smk or Norphlet on GHS.  Maybe someone else can help you.  If you did a post on  GHS group, you might get more response than this post on the Arkansas Oil and Gas Hydrocarbons group.  Good luck.
