New Encana Well Site SW of San Augustine Hwy 103 and 147 - Z Redmond Survey

Encana is applying for a new well site today southwest of San Augustine just off (south) of Highway 103 and just west of Highway 147, in the western part of the Z Redmond survey. Encana is really infatuated with the area southwest of SA.

Well I'll be.  Finally a well being drilled in our Survey.  We are on the East end of the Z-Redmond but this is great news.  Go Encana go!
That's great news!  Now we just have to wait for well results.
We are good at that aren't we jffree1......waiting!!!....haha
I'd say we are "Pro" caliber after three years of practice.
It looks as if this will be all on USNF land.Where is county rd. 318?
JWC how can I find out where our land tract is located in Z-Redmond? I live in California.
Not real sure Norwood, W.  I would think you would need a copy of the survey or deed.  Maybe jffree1 can help with this question.

If you own the surface of the tract or know who does it is fairly easy to get a plat of the tract from the appraisal district office.

If the minerals have been severed from the surface and you don't know who is paying the taxes on the tract you might have to run the title forward to the current owner(s) to find the location on a tobin map.

Old legal descriptions can give clues by making reference to roads, towns, waterways and adjacent owners.

Still not on TRRC Web site.  I guess they are still waiting on approval.
It hasn't been given an API # yet.  That's why it's not on the map yet.
Wonder why Encana hasn't issued the IP rate on this well or did I miss it?
The well in Z. Redmond hasn't been drilled yet.
