This one will make Les B's "Super Well" list!
It produced just under 2 BCF in 4.5 months up to the end of December, 2010.
I've been telling others that I think this well might be just a little bit stronger than the A-43 well, judging by the production numbers.  I think the pressures were higher, also.

I looked at the numbers through December again (sure wish they would issue January). A-43 has come in with 1.86 BCF since May (8 months). A-398 has come in with 1.94 BCF in 5 months! After 5 months, A-43 only had 1.56 BCF. Looks like A-398 wins hands-down.

A concern I have about A-43 is the decline rate. In June, it had .475 BCF. In December, it had .066 BCF (after a November of .103). This tells me it has fallen about 86% in 6 months!

I don't remember now which month it was but someone posted that A-43 #1H was shut-in for a period while they were working on #2H.  That might account for the drop.
Maybe January numbers will tell the story.

Correct, you are.  The EnCana wells and permits are 4 to 8 miles south of the Denning wells.
