Nothing... however we did finally receive the Battle GU division order and am waiting for a royalty check.
I think that is why people think they are getting so much $ b/c that first check ends up being 6-9+ months of production that has been on hold until division orders are out signed and retuned etc.... If we hear anything I will shoot you an email. If you hear any thing please do the same.
Thanks
Yeah, all of our "1st checks" on the wells have been 5 - 9 months production, with most at the 6 month mark. Sure gets the adrenalin going when you get the first check, but the first actual production check following that is sort of a downer, since it's for one month and by that time set at a lower production rate. Finally starting to get enough coming in to pay some of the bills, so hopefully we see a LOT more and can start playing instead of working to keep the bread on the table and the lights on!!! I sure like seeing the $$ from the Haynesville vs. the others... the decimal point actually moves back on those!!!
Still haven't seen the check for the Battle unit, but some of my relatives have theirs in hand now. And still nothing on any of the others in Shelby County... the ones down in San Augustine and Nacogdoches with Cabot, EXCO and Southwestern are happening much quicker than Devon and O'Brien.
I'll keep you informed of anything that happens!

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
