Good start.  Hopefully CHK will draw some additional investments from other companies.  The Interstate CNG/lng project would be a good investment for the industry, IMO.
fascinating article.  Not sure I like seeing a diversion of the exploration budget to these 2 firms, but overall this seems to make a lot of sense (but, of course, I know nothing about the 2 firms).  Sundrop looks particularly interesting because it is new technology that could drive NG demand.  Plus the fact that Kleiner Perkins and Oak Management have already invested says a lot.
I'm skeptical but I hope he does well. It only makes sense that we use such an abundant domestic resource.

I fuss and feud and fight with Chesapeake Energy at every turn.  But I want to give Mr. McClendon his due for putting Chesapeake Energy moneys (my moneys LOL) where its Mouth is!   Too bad the Feds don't or won't!  We have to have cheaper, cleaner, OPEC free energy NOW.  Invest in America!  Made In America!  Supply side and  Demand side for our National Security!

Now let's hear a LOUD MOUTH "WE SECOND THAT" from the ExxonMobils, the BPs, the Chevrons, the Devons, the Petrohawks, the Murphy Oils, the GMs, the Fords, and on...  Let's get Our Troops Home and Get them working in a New U.S. Energy Industry!

Thank You Mr. McClendon.  Thank You Chesapeake Energy Company and Thank You to All Chesapeake Energy Stakeholders.

Let's hope the EPA doesn't try messing this up...
