does anyone have any info on activity on the eastern half of fm 417 or how would i find out the info?  the rights are leased to chesapeake.

What part of FM 417 are you asking about?

There is absolutely no activity on FM 417 East at this time.  There have been no wells drilled in this area and I don't think there are any permitted to be drilled by Chesapeake or XTO. Also, there are several tracts of land in the neighborhood that are unleased now and with no offers for a lease from any company. O&G boom has sure slowed down.
