Aubrey, have you heard which land companies are leasing on behalf of Whiting and what they are offering in the way of lease terms?
Skip, Miller Land Resources of Jackson, Ms is leasing company. They have been active out there for about a year and have leased a lot of my friends. They were paying $350 to $360/acre. Lease terms were for 3 yrs with 3 yr. option. Royalty is 25% for anything above top of SMK and 20% below top of SMK.
