Skip, Miller Land Resources of Jackson, Ms is leasing company. They have been active out there for about a year and have leased a lot of my friends. They were paying $350 to $360/acre. Lease terms were for 3 yrs with 3 yr. option. Royalty is 25% for anything above top of SMK and 20% below top of SMK.
Whiting currently surveying location site in S.25, T23N, R9w. Rumor is that it will be horizontal. Whiting has been on of most successful in drilling horizontals in Bakken Sh.
Good to see another player in game. Also heard rumors that Whiting might be sold.

Permalink Reply by Paul Peterson on January 22, 2013 at 6:24 They have updated the well allowables. I just wondered if there were any opinions on why the BML seems to be up and down. I know it is something only swn knows but just wondered what people with experience think.

I was told from a reliable source the Doles well has possible csg problems and that SWN was in the process of pulling the tbg out of hole.
