Thanks for the heads-up, Tony.
What are your thoughts on this change in the unit sizes (and Marlin's profile in this)?
Of course, I'd also like to read Mr. Aubrey Sanders thinking, too.
GD, I have talked to people that have and are doing business with them without any complaints. Do they have the knowledge and expertise to pull this off? I don't know. You are correct, we need Mr. Sanders opinion.
Sidebar, Tony.
The other day I spoke with a friend who has a working interest with WLL in a Bakken well, along with other WI wells in the Bakken.
Seems my friend's biggest worry as a WI player . . . is the risk of being hit with a near half-million-dollar "well" bill per the terms of his investment. It's not for the faint of heart or for those who don't have access to quick capital/cash flow.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
