HELLO,
Does anyone know if there is any interest in Jackson, East Feliciana Parish, LA ? ?
My family has 18 Acres and wonder which players, if any are exploring our area ?
At one point I did receive Email from Haliburton ?
Please let me know the latest for my neck of the woods.
Thank you very sincerely, Joybee.

Joy, you might post your question in the East Feliciana Group but I haven't heard anything out of that area in many months. No leasing, no permits, no drilling. I agree with Jay.

To: Jay and Skip Peel,
Thank you so very much.
I am new to PC Communication and New to this site.
So, I am trying to figure out which route to take.
Thank you for directing me to correct group.
Sincerely, with very best regards, Joybee.
You're welcome, Joybee. If you want to get some background you can read through the old discussions in East Feliciana and in the general topic TMS Group.

Thank you Skip Peel,
I have started reading. I need to rest my brain for a few minutes.
So, far
I have not seen anything to help me understand why Jackson, EFP is dead.
And EFP group has not replied.
If you have time, I am forever grateful if you will tell me why.
Very best regards, Joybee.
There hasn't been in activity in the EFP Group for many months. When you post a new discussion in that group, all the members get an email notice. It may take some time for members to see your discussion and even then it is unlikely that there is anything recent to discuss. The TMS play has withered because the wells are very expensive and the price of crude is too low to support the costs.
Thank you Skip Peel,
Now, I understand.
Currently, I am in Linz, Austria (Time is 7 hours ahead of U.S. C.S.T.
It is now, 2:10AM Wed. 03 Feb. I need to sleep.
I will sign on again later today which is your tomorrow.
Good night and thank you very much for sharing your knowledge, information and your time. Very Sincerely, Joybee.
Joybee, it is like having money in the bank, if not for you but maybe your grandkids. Oil & Gas is like riding a rollercoaster, tomorrow you may hit the high point but it may also be the low point.
Thank you Two Dogs, Pirate___
I like your analogy (roller coaster ) Oil & Gas. Our acreage is our heritage from my grandparents. Thank you for helping me see it as future investment for our next generations. Very Best Regards, Joybee.
Joy, I would definitely recommend hiring a dedicated oil and gas attorney. These things are very complicated and if you make a mistake, it could end up costing you mega money. It is very difficult for a layperson to negotiate a contract with an oil company that has all the expertise in the world and has a huge legal staff. Kind of like, you wouldn't operate on yourself. If ever you needed an attorney to protect your interests down to the tiniest detail, which could be very important, it is now. Attorneys do not necessarily cost an arm and leg. Mine drew my contract for $150. But it is wonderful to try to educate yourself with all the material you can find. Good luck!
I suggest that you speak to Rob Ligon in Clinton.
To: Carter Boater, thank you for your recommendation, As a matter of fact, in September 2010, regarding another matter, I had the pleasure of communicating with Attorney Leslie Ligon who referred me to Rob Ligon in Clinton, EFP, Louisiana.
At that time, I did not know of their expertise in Oil & Gas Contracts. Thank you so, very much. Best Regards, Joybee.
Cary Miller, thank you for your well founded advice.
One of the many things GOD's Inspiration has taught me is "In business or potential business situations, talk to my Attorney before speaking to anyone else." and second, never approach business with attitude to "save a dime" because, in the end, "you save a dime, but lose "hundreds of dollars."
Thank you for your advice and information because it reinforces my beliefs.
Best Regards, Joybee.
Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
