I am pleased to announce that we have moved back to our original trio of websites - GoHaynesvilleShale.com, GoMarcellusShale.com and EagleFordForum.com. The company that provided the software we used was sold to a new company and they are improving and maintaining the software. So, this means that they are no longer phasing out the software that our network of websites relied upon. This is very good news…
As you may have noticed EagleFordForum.com is now GoEagleFordShale.com matching it in terms of branding to our other sites.
Once again the websites are using the original software that so many of you became accustomed to using. You can use your GHS, GMS, EFF registered email and password to log in and you should be good to go.
Maintaining 3 sites does come with additional operating costs so we will be providing opportunities for our users to contribute toward those expenses via GoFundMe and Paypal. Contributing is, of course, voluntary and the sites remain free and open for anyone to participate.
So, what does this mean for ShaleForum.com? Some of you are saying, “Who cares?” :)
We will be keeping ShaleForum around for a few reasons.
If you notice anything amiss as you get back on the site, please send me email to keith@shaleforum.com.

Thanks, Keith. I'll be happy to donate. I checked my page and I even have all of my 638 "friends" back. That's great.
Hello Keith - glad to see GHS back up!! I had a hard time logging into the new site and I never really got the hang of it. Now that I've got all my friends and discussions back you'll see me here more.

Hey Keith,
Thanks for getting the Site back up. My problem is nothing is happening in the TMS. Unless we get back to 65+ we are dead. I don't see that happening anytime soon. I'll try to make a donation in the future.
Thanks,
Joe

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
