Rock man, thank you, I heard they getting ready to frack the Black Brush well...

Is rig still on location?

Thanks Jay. There plans may be frac this well, but it will be a while before this happens (assuming they have no more problems)

This second day no pipe in rack..

Hmmm - were they rotating??? Or did you notice any picking up of new drill pipe as they were drilling?

why might this be insight Jay related to future of play in Cheneyville ?  why unit requesting 1440 acres, are they considering drilling several wells/laterals from single pad?

They are looking to hold 1440 acres of lease rights with a unit well.  If it is economic, there will be room to drill additional infill wells in the future

Looks like SONRIS updated this today / at TD and running 4.5" production casing.

3/23/18, REACHED SIDE TRACK TD OF 16,435' MD 3/27/18, PRESENT OPERATIONS, RUNNING 4 1/2" PRODUCTION CASING

Three months from first rigging up to get to this point / planned TD was 18,000' as per SONRIS / they had only made about 600' of new hole over past week / figure that they felt that this TD is as good as they could do without losing hole (and spending more money with minimal penetration rates>

4.5" casing is small - it can be used for frac'ing but much less volume / pump pressure / power is possible in this casing versus the "normal" 5.5" casing that operators usually use for frac operations

Interesting that this filing indicates that individuals can acquire certain info related to the formation of the unit - if they are willing to pay for it. But there is no mention of what one would get if they ask for this and what the cost would be.

I  see that on page two of this letter (item 11) it describes the chalk as between 14235 and 14440. Does that mean it is 205 feet deep here?

205' thick at the referenced location.

Also note the tie back of these depths to the reference well - all wells drilled in this unit / field area have to be located within this stratigraphic equivalent interval.
