Just received my 3rd letter from Twin Cities offering 5,500 and 1/4. Trashed it like the other 2.

we are always talking about power in numbers, whats bigger than this website you are visiting right now.
I'm talking BIG picture...whole ArkLATex...

The already established coalitions could join.

I'm takling about hundreds of coalitons, thousands of people.

Haynesville.com already has a following of thousands, why not group together and be a force to reckon with.

imagine how H U G E and POWERFUL this org. could be.

What you have to understand is that no one company would want to bid on all the area that one super-coalition represents.
I have not received anything pertaining to the Haynesville Shale. I live in Broadmoor by the duck pond. What should I do to join a group? Why haven’t I heard anything yet?
Hi Joe,

Letters went out to all Captain Shreve Neighborhoods joining with the ShreveCentre Coalition on July 18th, 2008. If you did not receive a letter please call 318-865-5832 to obtain information. Hope this helps.
See the Events on the main page and go to the meeting. There is no way the poor guy can answer all those phone calls.
I finally received my 1st letter from Twin Cities offering 5,500 and 1/4. I am wondering if I should wait for better subsequent offers or if this is a good offer for me to accept. I have heard of others getting 5 figures an acre. Are some companies better than others. If Twin Cities if offering this amount, what is Chesapeake offering? How do the different companies decide who gets to drill and where? Will there be other offers better than 5,500 coming my way?
Twin Cities is Chesapeake. Twin Cities is the company that Chesapeake is using to handle their leasing.
Charles - the ShreveCentre Coalition is coming out with more information soon. With a block of land from I-49 to the Red River, we surely will get better offers after the negotiating committee accepts bids from the O&G companies. Let's see what the SCC comes up with before we sign.
The very latest from the SCC: See the thread "ShreveCentre Coalition Incorporates, Sets Goals"
Twin Cities are representing Chesapeake, but I do not know the others are represented by.
Thanks everyone, I think I will join the coalition and see what they can do.
