Just got off the phone talking to a landman from Twin Cities / CHC.
my section T18 R14 05 is 80% leased and they getting ready to drill.

He said the wells in this area are producing around 12 mcf per day... and they would like to sign me up at a whopping $1500 per acre with 25% royalty or {get this] $2000 an acre with 22 1/2 % royalty.....
so i told him ...keep your change and we will ride this boy down together

Yeah, I'm next door in 04, I second the motion (keeping the change). I just received a letter from them that made no sense or cents whatsoever urging me to call one of their landmen. Do you believe them at all about the 80% that is?
They sent a color-coded map that showed about 80% under lease...this map shows the 640-acre unit composed of sections 05 & 08 with the drill site in Blanchard.
I learned to color when I was about 2. That didn't mean what I colored was the TRUTH! I don't trust anything these guys are saying or showing. If you were in attendance at the meeting at Creamer's Furniture then you will remember that slick guy "accidently" showing a map of the area his company was interested in leasing! Smoke and mirrors, Ray, smoke and mirrors!
Yeah, that was the guy that didn't wear socks. I'm with you Cat, I guess I'm still a greedy old landowner, they want to pay me chicken feed for 75% of mineral rights?
I'm in sec 20 - 18n 15w I live out of state. Not sure if this is the same area or not. Can anyone tell me if my section is in an area of interest?
Ray-Cd3,

Aren't these the tracts (10 sections) that were force pooled by Samson Energy? If so, there is rumor of a territory dispute with CHK. Did they get the well permit? My land is in section 10.
SAMSON had a hearing [ Jan.13th] on force pooling these sections plus 8 more.

My letter from Twincities / CHG was dated Jan.30th.

???
Here is a copy of the hearing notice application for Jan 13th. It shows the 10 sections Samson is creating units on page 4 and 5. T18 R14 S4-10 & 15. Also T18 R15 S1 & 12. You can find this public information at the following link. You can look at all of the applications for the Longwood field. I attached 09-50 and 09-51.

I hope this helps.
