What's the consensus about the recent offer we received from Petrohawk? I noticed that they increased the depth limitation from 100' to 300'. Are there any other clauses that we need to discuss or is it a pretty fair contract? What happens if we don't sign by the August 30 deadline?

good luck on noise abatement; Barksdale's planes are already zoned for noise in this area and they are far louder. Well depending on where you live. I live almost under the flight zone also known as the accident potential zone.
I personally thought it was a fair offer & have signed a letter of intent. The additional clauses that we asked for (which were put in by a landman who lives in the neighborhood & distributed at the Parkway High meeting) are all included in the lease. I have talked to a few others in the neighborhood who have also signed.
