Two Great New Wells in RR and Encouraging Well in North (18N)

Sonris today reports potential on three HK wells. Two in RR: Sample 5(#238,488), in 5, 14N, 11W at 18.5 mmcfd; and Jacobs 36 (#238,489) in 36, 14N, 11W at 15.5 mmcfd.

An encouraging sign for the northern sector is the potential filed for Crestview 28 (#238,490) in 28, 18N, 16W at 10.001 mmcfd.

good news. I went ahead and categorized it for you...
a breath of fresh gas!
Thanks, wr. HK's Crestview Woods 28 is welcome news for an area of the play that could use some good news.
With S5 being in the northern area and S36 being in the southern, sounds like 14N, 11W is full of gas! Good for them, hopefully they will see results through economic impacts.

Thanks for the update - sesport :0)
WR, thanks for the heads up on the wells. By the way the Jacobs 36 #1 tested at 17.5 MMcfd.

The Crestview well is the 1st to crack 10 MMcfd in T18N. This well plus the Exco Sharp well shows the better operators are getting a handle on the northern portion of the play.
For what it's worth, the Jacobs 36 #1 is in 13/11, not 14/11. Also the Jacobs 36 #2 has been drilled and fraced and should have an IP reported any day now. I never can figure out what rational the operators have for drilling two Haynesville wells in the same sections when there are so many sections still undrilled. Your thoughts, Les?
SB, I chalk it up to science. They may want to try two different well and/or completion designs in the same area to compare results.
Sounds reasonable to me. Hope they'll do some "science" in my sections.
SHE BLINDED ME WITH SCIENCE
THOMAS DOLBY

It's poetry in motion
she turned her tender eyes to me
as deep as any ocean
as sweet as any harmony
mm - but she blinded me with science
"she blinded me with science!"
and failed me in biology

It's poetry in motion
and now she's making love to me
the spheres're in commotion
the elements in harmony
she blinded me with science
"she blinded me with science!"
and hit me with technology
You go, LES!
Typing to quickly. Jacobs is, in fact, in 13N, not 14, AND it was 17.5 mmcfd, not 15.5.

Not proofing is a bad habit in my old age.
