Using a company that is suppose to bring buyers and sellers together.

How many of the people in NW Louisiana have successfully used one of the companies that are suppose to bring buyers and sellers together. Do they charge an additional percentage above the land mans commission?

Well put.
good list, whats your opinion on whose the best thought? For geting the money for the acres, thoguh?
I guess I didn't make my question very clear from the responses I got. I started a coalition of 25 landowners here in the Fryeburg area that own over 1400 acres, and would like to talk to some of these "Landmen" that are driving others nuts. There are ads on the web site that claim to bring owners and buyers together. We are all owners who would like to talk to buyers.
Lease broker most likely. Large parcels have more bargaining power than single smaller parcels. IF after everyone gets their money, there is anything left for you. Commission agents have there uses, only you can decide, it cost nothing to listen to the pitch and sleep on it.
JUST FROM MY POSTINGS on this forum I have recieved several inquires from Brokers and royality buyers-people are reading!
I am one of the owners. I don't want anything for me except to lease my property. The reason I put the coalition together is to get us a little bargaining power. I don't speak for any of the other owners. None of us have been approached yet.
