Hi Les, excellent information. They are so close to my area in Bienville Sec 23, T15 R8W. At what point would they contact landowner with a lease offer? In addition, I saw a map and noticed that there are some adopted Haynesville Shale Units as well as some permitted wells, but not drilling. What does this mean? The map was the Haynesvville Shale Gas Play Well Activity Map.
Pamela, there are eight Haynesville units in T15N-R8W but no permitted Haynesville Shale wells. Others have stated Will-Drill may be working on a farm-out or sale of their acreage which may be delaying development in your area. The rate at which wells are permitted and/or drilled is heavily dependent upon the timing for any potential lease expirations.

S6-T15N-R8W, HA RA SUKK Unit, Will-Drill, Woodwardville Field, Bienville Parish
S7-T15N-R8W, HA RA SU59 Unit, Will-Drill, Woodwardville Field, Bienville Parish
S29-T15N-R8W, HA RA SUQQ Unit, Will-Drill, Woodwardville Field, Bienville Parish
S30-T15N-R8W, HA RA SUOO Unit, Will-Drill, Woodwardville Field, Bienville Parish
S31-T15N-R8W, HA RA SUPP Unit, Will-Drill, Woodwardville Field, Bienville Parish
S32-T15N-R8W, HA RA SURR Unit, Will-Drill, Woodwardville Field, Bienville Parish
That is pretty much a done deal. And Questar will then rock and roll.
BD, thanks for the info. I was just acting as the straight man so you could deliver the punchline.
Are you saying that Questar will start drilling in area soon?
