I just spoke to Rhett who is in charge over there, nice guy. The company has been in the oil business in some form since 1917, based in Texas. This of course is a web auction based system. Once you sign up, they do title check, they will work with you regarding the lease, if you have a lease you want to use you can substitute their lease for yours. Companys have to submit a bank letter idicating they are good for their bid. Depending on the size of your acreage, fees will range from 3-5%.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
